On Saturday, September 8, NSA Michigan was thrilled and honored to present Pam Wyess with the prestigious Charles Leadership Award in appreciation of her years of service to the chapter. Pam is only the fourth member to receive this award in the chapter’s history.

In the words of previous award recipient Marilynn Semonick, the Charles Leadership Award is “not given annually; rather in those rare cases where an individual has sustained, radiant leadership of character, integrity and service that not only leaves their legacy, but becomes sustenance for the chapter.”

Pam was recognized for her selfless dedication to others, her passion for helping, and her endless energy for giving. Pam is a two-time Past Chapter President. She also managed the ProTrack speaked education program for years, is currently involved in the development of the Michigan Speakers Academy and has served on the national Chapter Leadership Council.

Previous award recipients are Leslie Charles, Mary Jane Mapes and Marilynn Semonick.

Congratulations to Pam on this well-deserved honor!
