Welcome to new chapter member Thomas Williams, a member of the national association since 2003. Tom first joined NSA while working for IBM, where he did a great deal of speaking, to help sharpen his speaking and presentation skills.
After leaving IBM, Tom went to work for the Jack Henry Association. Jack Henry is a banking industry hard and soft company. They assist in all facets of information protection and strategic planning. Tom’s role and responsibilities are in sales and marketing where he leads a sales team. One of his strategies for driving business to Jack Henry is by speaking and presenting at banking meetings, which Tom considers “a great way to educate and develop new leads.”
Tom joined the Michigan chapter of NSA as he plans to focus more on developing his speaking career. “My desire is to develop a speaking career after I leave Jack Henry Associates.” While Tom has participated in national NSA events, he is looking forward to tapping into the expertise and talent of NSA-Michigan.
Tom speaks on topics related to cybersecurity, disaster recovery, business continuity, and motivation. “All these topics are key in today’s banking and financial Industries. I use my speaking and presenting opportunities to educate on issues related to banks that are always changing and critical to success.”
“NSA is a wonderful resource and I try to take advantage of as much of the expertise and talent available as I can,” Tom goes on to say. “I look forward to strengthening my relationship with NSA as I build my own speaking career.”
Tom resides in West Bloomfield. He can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org, 800-299-4411 (w), 313-318-3839 (m).
