I like to think that Gumby is my personal mascot: He’s flexible and can adapt to challenging situations. As an organization (and as business owners) we need to be able to respond to challenges and still meet our goals and obligations. We had a chance to put this quality into practice this week. We received word last Friday that our regular seminar venue GO Where Meetings Matter would be unavailable for any meetings in the month of July and we needed to find an alternate location pronto. Fortunately, we were able to make some calls and secure a meeting space at the Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel for our July 13 seminar with Kevin McCarthy. Whew!
So, we hope you will join us at this lovely hotel for a great session with Kevin who promises to give us a blueprint for building our speaking business. We’ve heard rave reviews about Kevin and his program and are excited to learn actionable strategies at the session. We will get started with our networking time at 8:00 am and at 8:30 begin our program. Kevin’s program ends at 12:30 and we will have a networking reception with a One-Sheet display. If you have a one-sheet – bring two copies. We will have a look and learn and see what our fabulous NSA Michigan colleagues do. We will be all done by 1:30 pm so you will have time to enjoy a beautiful summer day in Michigan.
There is still time to get in on the Early Bird Pricing for the Seminar with Kevin McCarthy. We will also be installing our new board for 2019/20 and have more information about our big regional event – NSA Michigan Master Class with Mark Scharenbroich! Here’s the link to register for July 13.
Don’t forget – Saturday, July 13, NSA Michigan Seminar with Kevin McCarthy at the Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel, 3200 Boardwalk, Ann Arbor, MI 48103, conveniently located by the State Street exit off I-94.
All the best,
NSA Michigan Chapter President
